Adult Camp

Camp HOPE offers a camp retreat for the adults who have children attending our weekend camp.

Just like the kids camp, our Adult Camp is here to make sure our families know they’re not alone in the mess that is grief. Taking care of children after a loved one dies can be overwhelming and Adult Camp gives them their own space to start processing their emotions surrounded with others who are having similar experiences.  

 

The Adult Camp runs in conjunction with our camp for children and teens at the Wisconsin Lions Camp but is kept separate from the kid’s camp. The adult family members are able to gain the same insights into their grief as their children, while being treated to massage therapy, drumming, canoeing, hiking, arts and crafts, campfires and the bonds of new and powerful friendships.
